Getting Started - Basic Training

image - man pajamas | Basic TrainingThe WSA (Web Site Accelerator) allows you to make changes to your web site anytime of the day, from anywhere that you can access the Internet.

The WSA has two primary editing modes -- Standard and Interactive.

If you're the kind of person that thinks linearly and approaches tasks in a highly organized manner, it may make sense for you to use the Standard Mode. On the other hand, if you are a visual type person, it will probably make sense for you to use the Interactive Mode.

Standard Mode uses a simple input form to allow you to easily manage your content. You can select the page you wish to work on in the Pages List, then drill down through the Page Section to the Content Item and its Content Elements.

Edit Button | Basic TrainingInteractive Mode allows you to view the web site as you normally would through a browser, but with the addition of interactive Edit Buttons that provide access to all the editable areas of each page.

Which mode you choose is totally a matter of which one you are more comfortable with. We provide the options so you can have a choice.
Help for each of the admin functions is being developed and will appear under its relevant heading in the left hand navigation:
   • Site Maintenance
   • Quick-Add
   • Administration
   • User Maint
   • Feedback Maint
   • Forum Maint
   • Newsletter Maint
   • Style Maint

You may notice that you do not see all of the items listed here when you log in to work on your web site. The items that will be included will depend on your level of administrative rights and your particular site configuration.
